Timothy VanSlyke was born and raised in Oregon where he currently lives with his family. He has also spent significant time in Hungary and has a special love for Hungary, its people and its culture.
He teaches English to speakers of other languages at a local college. He loves interacting with students from other countries and learns as much from them as he teaches. In his free time he enjoys traveling, photography, hiking and swimming.
Tim has written and self-published two novels and a children's book with illustrations by his daughter, Noemi. He is currently working on a series of instructional eBooks for English Language Learners.
